Nootionconceptweb is trying hard to keep the web updated. By doing so, we will not continue developing for early version of Explorer (IE6 toIE7) and other expired browsers.
Visitors with out-dated browser will be informed by a little, undisturbing bar, that his browser is not up-to-date and it is recommended to update.
Example:
Some may find this unprofessional, but in my opinion I think it's a good way to let users know that there is better, faster and more dynamic web browsers. It's also an advantage for security reasons. The web is growing at an incredible rate and we can barely keep up with it!

From CMSFS to Concrete5

The following was a reply I wrote to help other freelancers find a more up to date and better CMS. This was written on the forum at CMSFS.
After using CMSFS for the past years, I was hesitant to head over to another management system and I really didn't want to work with anything else. On top of that, I couldn't find anything that meet my expectations but in time, I was also noticing the lack of support and updates from CMSFS.I took a full week of testing other CMS's, you name it, i've tried it (meaning: installation, ease of use, added pages, content, etc) and within the 40 something system I tried only 2 stood out, Jaws-project and Concrete5.(I did try the 2 most "popular" system,...

St Pat's Alumni Published

St Pat's Alumni's website has been published. The main issue with their previous site (as seen below) was their ranking on search engines such as Google and Yahoo...it came up at 0%! Reason? The use of Frames in the HTML made it impossible for Google or Yahoo to read the content. Typing keywords such as St Pat's Alumni Association would made the site link appear in the first 3 spot guaranteed, but due to the lack of "readable text" it wasn't found.
We took the task of re-modeling the site to something more user-friendly and quickly accessible. Hence the 3 featured boxes on the main page which shows the most important information at first glance without the need to click on the navigation men...

IE6 is outdated

If you're a web designer or coder you know that working with Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) requires alot of wasted time to fix bugs and layout issues related to it's lack of CSS support. Released in 2001, this outdated browser is still being used daily by 15 - 25% of people unaware of it vulnerabilities.
I've put together a litte something explaining why you should upgrade your outdated web browser, in this case Internet Explorer 6, and how the security issues may harm you. I know there's been countless of these "why internet explorer sucks" articles on the web but It seems that there's still a small percentage of users unaware of it's issues.
This version of Internet Explorer is widely deri...
